Chester had a huge week! He weighs 3371 g or 5 pounds 2 oz. On Saturday, instead of going down by 1 on his CPAP settings he switched all the way to high flow nasual cannula of 2. This was a big surprise for Mom and Dad who were told that decrease would take over a week. Later that day, Chester breastfeed for the first time. He is doing a great job latching and learning how to pace himself bottle feeding. Now Chester’s big goal will to be to slowly work on taking all of his food by bottle. Right now he is drinking 30% of one feed a day. Chester also had to give up his 2 cups of coffee (2 doses of caffeine) this week. He was not a big fan of no caffeine and it took him a few days to adjust to caffeine free life.

Such great news! Glad to hear that he is making such incredible progress ❤️
