Chester is at 890 grams and 38 cm this week. He has been doing well with his bipap and is off phototherapy. He is having some ups and downs with having air in his tummy. This is very normal for babies on a bipap. Daddy got to hold Chester for the first time. Chester loves his snuggles and tolerates the whole hour very well. He is not the biggest fan when it is time to go back to his bed though. This week, he cracked his eyes open to look at Mommy. Chester also got his first bath at 2 weeks old. He didn’t mind the sponge bath too much. When he is a bit older he will have a more traditional bath in the NICU.
