Week 4 Update (29 Weeks)

Chester had a great week. He is 39 cm and 1130 grams (2.5 lbs). He is now getting all of his nutrients from Mommy’s breastmilk with a fortifier to make it more caloric. Due to this, he had his central line removed. Chester is eating more and more everyday and is up to 8.5 ml per hour. He has been doing well with breathing and his support setting are lower everyday. He had his 1 month checks for nutrition tests and his brain. Everything seems normal and his brain is healing itself. Chester helped wish Mommy a happy birthday. He loves snuggle time and hearing Mommy and Daddy sing to him and read him Harry Potter. They already have gotten though the second book now that he gets snuggles everyday for about 3 hours.
